Quality Control Technician
Job Summary
A Quality Control Technician is responsible for monitoring, testing, and verifying products and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards. This role supports production and manufacturing operations by identifying defects, ensuring accurate measurements, and maintaining product consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products.
- Measure, record, and analyze product dimensions and characteristics.
- Identify and report non-conformities or defects to production teams.
- Assist in implementing corrective actions and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation, inspection reports, and logs.
- Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to uphold quality assurance goals.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in quality control, inspection, or laboratory testing.
- Knowledge of measurement tools and testing equipment.
- Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data recording.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of ISO, GMP, or other quality standards is an advantage.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
