JOB DESCRIPTION JAPAN GAS CONSTRUCTION
Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our team in the construction and maintenance of gas infrastructure projects across Japan. The role involves the installation, inspection, testing, and repair of gas pipelines and associated equipment. Candidates must prioritize safety, quality, and teamwork in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the construction, installation, and maintenance of gas pipelines and distribution systems.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Operate heavy equipment and tools used in gas line construction.
- Ensure compliance with Japanese safety and environmental regulations.
- Conduct pressure testing and quality control inspections.
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and other site personnel.
- Report any safety hazards, incidents, or irregularities to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and daily work logs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or technical/vocational certification required.
- Relevant experience in gas, oil, or general utility construction preferred.
- Knowledge of pipeline construction practices and gas safety protocols.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor conditions.
- Basic Japanese language skills (for communication and compliance).
- Valid work permit or eligibility to work in Japan (for foreign applicants).
- Willingness to travel and work on different project sites.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in welding, pipefitting, or construction safety (e.g., Gas Construction Safety Passport).
- Familiarity with Japanese industrial codes and standards (JIS, etc.).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
