BARANGAY CERTIFICATION OF UNEMPLOYED

Barangay Certification of Unemployment (With Sample Format and Translation Option)

What is a Barangay Certification of Unemployment?

A Barangay Certification of Unemployment is an official document issued by the barangay office that certifies an individual is currently unemployed and has no regular source of income. This certification is typically requested by residents who need to prove their unemployment status for various purposes, such as applying for government assistance programs, financial aid, job placement, or skills training offered by public agencies or non-government organizations.

The certification includes the individual’s personal information, such as their name, address, and age, and affirms that based on the records and verification of the barangay officials, the person is not currently engaged in any form of employment. It may also contain a statement that the certification is being issued upon the individual’s request for whatever legal purpose it may serve.

To obtain the document, the individual usually needs to appear in person at the barangay hall, present valid identification, and sometimes provide a written request or accomplish a form. The barangay captain or authorized personnel then signs and stamps the certificate to make it official.

BARANGAY CERTIFICATION OF UNEMPLOYMENT

This is to certify that Miss Aileen Landicho Barba, 38 years old, is a bona fide resident of Barangay 4, Caloocan, Talisay, Nueva Ecija, known to me as a person of good moral character and has never been charged in any offense nor involved in any subversive movement in the locality.

This further certifies that she is the second to the eldest among a family of five (5) who only helps her parents in doing household chores. For this reason, she has no time to work in any company and is presently staying at home.

This certification is being issued to Miss Aileen Landicho Barba for Spain Embassy requirements.

Given this 2nd day of August 2017 at Barangay 4, Caloocan, Talisay, Nueva Ecija.
