HR Assistant Job Description
An HR Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This role assists in recruitment processes, employee records management, payroll coordination, and implementation of HR policies and procedures. HR Assistants help ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
HR Assistants work closely with HR Officers, managers, and employees to support hiring, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in recruitment activities such as posting job vacancies, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Maintain and update employee records, files, and HR databases.
- Support onboarding and orientation of new hires.
- Assist in processing timekeeping, attendance, and payroll-related documents.
- Prepare HR-related reports, letters, memoranda, and employment documents.
- Coordinate employee training schedules and HR activities.
- Respond to basic employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.

Educational Requirements
