Computerized Daily Lesson Log (DLL) – Microsoft Excel Format

This post provides a computerized Daily Lesson Log (DLL) designed for writing, editing, and printing. The file is created in Microsoft Excel to help teachers save time and maintain organized, consistent lesson records.

Instructions for Computerized Daily Lesson Log

You only need to change the first date; the succeeding dates will automatically update.
The file contains the following sheets: MAIN DL LOG, DL LOG FORMAT, MON, TUE, WED, THU, and FRI.

Printing Guide

For best results, it is recommended to manually print your documents when getting started.

Print the DL LOG FORMAT sheet only. This contains two (2) pages.
The printing pattern can be found at the bottom of the MAIN DL LOG sheet.
Once the DL LOG FORMAT is printed, you may begin filling out:

MON sheet – for Monday
TUE sheet – for Tuesday
WED sheet – for Wednesday
THU sheet – for Thursday
FRI sheet – for Friday

Insert the printed Page 1 of the DL LOG FORMAT into the printer, then print Page 1 on the MON–FRI sheets.
Insert the printed Page 2 of the DL LOG FORMAT into the printer, then print Page 2 on the MON–FRI sheets.
