Dear Sir:

The __________________ STATE UNIVERSITY is requiring all 4th year students enrolled in Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting Program to complete a 400-hour Accounting Internship with an institution that will help us accomplish the school’s academic objectives.

As a member of the social community in the City of Tanauan, your establishment is one of the best place for our students to have their accounting internship.  It is also a chance for them to give back all the opportunities and support our community is giving them.  We seek your support and partnership in the implementation of this program by accepting students from our college to join your establishment’s Internship Program. It is our hope that despite the presence of a pandemic, they will subsequently complete their prescribed practicum hours.  They will be ready to start with this activity this September 2021.

We hereby endorse MS. ___________________________ to your Student Internship Program.

In support of this collaboration, and to enable the student to maximize their time and learning with your establishment and ensure their safety prescribed by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases or IATF, may we request that the student:

  • not be given field work that will expose them to people raising the risk of contracting Covid-19 virus;
  • be provided with on-site accounting tasks from Monday to Friday  only and with a work environment that follows strict compliance to IATF and DOH prescribed health protocols;
  • be tested using the antigen test to produce a negative result;
  • be assigned to areas or given work assignments that are meaningful and will make use of the   students’ competencies and skills in the discipline;
  • not be given personal and menial tasks that are unrelated to the discipline;
  • not be given work assignments that are dangerous or will expose them to risk or harm;
  • be dealt with in a professional manner and all office transactions and interactions between the   student and the school’s employees be strictly confined to professional work dealings and  engagements.

Thank you and we look forward to our continuing partnership in the development of our students and soon-to-be professionals.

Very truly yours,
